I am a Registered Psychologist in Kjipuktuk/Halifax, Nova Scotia who works individually with adults (19+) experiencing posttraumatic stress, dissociative symptoms, depression, and anxiety, among other issues.
I specialize in ADHD/Autism support and LGBTQIA2+ health, working from an anti-oppressive framework to provide care for folks belonging to marginalized groups.
My preferred modality for treating posttraumatic stress is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), but I have training in other modalities as well. I use an empathy-based approach for all clients, and sessions are client-led unless supplementary structure is requested by the client.
